Approximately 45 divers took part in a series of three spectacular dive shows at the weekend, showcasing the Team’s talent, from the youngest divers performing basic skills from the poolside, through to the “Fab Four”, Plymouth’s International quartet of Sarah Barrow, Brooke Graddon, Tonia Couch and Thomas Daley. The skill demonstrations were interspersed with daring stunts, slapstick comedy and breathtaking multiple flights, where several divers perform one after the other, truly spectacular stuff.

The divers provided spectators with an hour & a half of spell binding entertainment. The feedback from those who watched the show was incredibly positive and with the recent publicity surrounding the divers, the team could have sold out another two or three shows, although with the physical effort which goes into each show from the divers, even if they had anticipated the demand for tickets, it wouldn’t have been physically possible to put on enough shows to cater for everyone who wanted a ticket!

Tickets sales and additional donations on the day, totalled over £1600. The money will go into club funds and be used to offset travel and accommodation costs to events.

It was a true feast of diving, thoroughly enjoyed by those who watched and by those who took part.
