Armada Cup 2013 – Feb 21-24 – Volunteers Wanted!

As some of you will know, the Armada Cup is Plymouth Diving’s annual club competition and it runs over 4 days in February during half term.

For the first time, this year it will run out of Plymouth Life Centre and we are looking forwards to welcoming teasm from all over the UK and Ireland.

As ever it takes a mammoth effort to put on an event of this size and we are always looking to recruit an army of volunteers to do anything from selling programmes, teas and coffess, marshalling divers and organising medal ceremonies.

Normally we would put you in a block of about 3-4 hours and only expect you to help once throughout the weekend – most parents tie this in with when their children are competing.

We are also in need of at least 6 cuti-pies every evening for the medal ceremonies – 8 and unders! They carry the medals for us!!

The competitions start at 4pm on the Thursday and finish around 3pm on the Sunday.
